  • Goldstone reports encouraging progress at Homase

    Tue Sep 02 2025

Aim-listed Goldstone Resources has reported that gold production at its Homase mine, in Ghana, continues to progress encouragingly with 11.06 kg of gold doré, equivalent to about 355.6 oz of gold doré poured during the week commencing on August 18.

The company notes that its plans to expand the heap-leach operation in south-western Ghana continue to progress, with civil engineering designs complete.

The company says it is awaiting the construction permit.

Further, a geotextile and geomembrane liner has been ordered and paid for, with anticipated delivery by the end of September.

Goldstone adds that it continues to focus on delivering 48 000 t of agglomerated stacked ore a month, which, together with moving back into Pit 1, with a continued average grade of 1 g/t, is expected to maintain the company's production profile through the remaining months of this year.

"The collective determination of our technical team and board continues to translate into steady progress at Homase.

“While the pace has been slower than we would have hoped, operations and gold production remain on a positive trajectory and we are all fully aligned and committed to delivering on our production goals.

“I look forward to updating shareholders over the coming weeks and months as we work to build further momentum through the remainder of 2025,” says CEO Emma Priestley.
