Regis ends FY strong with gold output near top guidance
Gold miner Regis Resources capped off its 2025 financial year with a robust finish, reporting fourth-quarter gold production of 87 400 oz and pushing full-year output to 373 000 oz, which is near the top end of its previously guided range of 350 000 oz to 380 000 oz.
The Australian gold miner also reported a A$150-million increase in cash and bullion over the quarter, ending the year with A$517-million in total reserves.
The company’s Duketon and Tropicana operations contributed 59 300 oz and 28 100 oz respectively in the fourth quarter, in line with full-year guidance for both assets.
Duketon delivered 233 000 oz for the year, against guidance of 220 000 oz to 240 000 oz, while Tropicana came in at 140 000 oz – the top of its 130 000 oz to 140 000 oz range.
"The team has done an excellent job executing to plan while also identifying and producing additional opportunistic ounces," said MD and CEO Jim Beyer in a statement accompanying the preliminary, unaudited results. "With gold prices expected to remain strong, we see this trend continuing."
The surge in cash and bullion highlights the benefits of strong production combined with favourable gold pricing in recent months. Regis is expected to provide a full breakdown of financials, including its all-in sustaining costs and 2026 production guidance, when it releases its full June quarter results on July 21.
