  • Anglo Asian Mining increased precious metals production by 3.1 times in 1H25

    British company Anglo Asian Mining (AAM, operator of gold deposits in Azerbaijan) extracted precious metals in the first half of 2025 in the amount of 16,378 ounces of gold equivalent, which is 3.1 times more than in the same period last year, Report informs referring to the company.

     

    The volume of gold production in the reporting period amounted to 12,115 ounces (an increase of 2.6 times), silver - 62,354 ounces (an increase of 4.9 times), copper - 1,188 tons (an increase of 11.9 times).

     

    At the Gadabay deposit, 11,382 ounces of gold (an increase of 2.4 times) and 14,911 ounces of silver (an increase of 4.9 times) were obtained from dore alloy in January-June 2025.

     

    On the world markets in the first half of the year, the company sold 9,781 ounces of gold bars (an increase of 1.6 times) at an average price of $3,077 per ounce (in January-June 2024, the company sold gold bars at an average price of $2,174 per ounce), the update says.

     

    During the reporting period, AAM produced 6,595 tons of copper concentrate (an increase of 39.7 times), of which it sold 5,432 tons (an increase of 16.4 times) for $9.915 million (an increase of 7.6 times).
