Mon Aug 31 2026

Kundan Refinery, part of Kundan Group, has received two honours at the IGC Excellence Awards 2026, recognising its performance in India’s gold and bullion industry. The company was named Leading Gold Bullion Refiner (All-India) of the Year 2025-26 and Best Gold Bullion Dealer (Northern India) of the Year 2025-26. The awards were presented during the 23rd India Gold Conference held in Goa from August 21 to 23, 2026.

The India Gold Conference is an important industry gathering that brings together refiners, bullion dealers, traders and other stakeholders from across the country. This year’s recognition marks another milestone for Kundan Group, which has received honours at the IGC Excellence Awards for ten consecutive years. Over the past decade, Kundan has been recognised across different categories, reflecting its continued focus on purity, quality, transparency and consistency in the gold bullion business.

Vidit Garg, Director, Kundan Group, said the latest awards were particularly significant because they mark a decade of continued recognition at the industry platform. “Winning these two prestigious awards at IGC Excellence Awards 2026 is especially important for us because it is a sign of ten years of our continued recognition at one of the most respected industry platforms,” Mr Garg said. He added that the recognition reflects the trust placed by industry participants in the company’s focus on quality and transparency.

Kundan Refinery is an NABL-accredited gold refining facility with more than a decade of experience in gold refining and precious metals. The refinery is an approved refiner for delivery of gold through the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) and National Stock Exchange (NSE).

The refinery operates as part of Kundan Group, a Government of India-recognised Four Star Export House and an ISO 9001-certified organisation. The company said the awards come at a time when India’s organised gold bullion market is placing greater emphasis on quality standards, transparency and regulatory compliance.

Kundan Refinery said it remains focused on strengthening its refining capabilities and improving its services as the Indian precious metals market continues to evolve. The company’s decade-long recognition at the IGC Excellence Awards has become an important part of its industry journey. The latest honours further reinforce its position in gold refining and bullion dealing, particularly across the all-India refining and Northern India bullion markets.

Kundan Group said it will continue to invest in its capabilities and participate in the development of India’s organised precious metals industry. The company’s operations are supported by its experience in refining and precious metals, along with its quality systems and industry approvals. Its focus remains on delivering gold products and services that meet the requirements of customers and participants across the bullion value chain.
